Yakitori yummies

You know how I mention about having to take a bite of shitburgers every so often? Well, I guess today is one of those days. But not only just me, I know some other people who are having some serious shitburgers too. Grumpy included. Towards me. Bahhh

And so, to cheer myself up, I will indulge in some yakitori yummies from my recent trip to Japan.

Chicken skin anyone?

Normal chicken...

This is a vegetarian sausage (no meat at all), and you dip it in fresh egg yolk. I never eat egg yolk, especially on its own, since I was a kid, but I did this time round. Peer pressure. And I was surprised that it tasted really good.

This is actually a gyoza, formed around a chicken wing..

And this is what the gyoza looks like after you take a bite. Absolutely delicious.

Some not so normal chicken. Grumpy calls it 'cartilage', which I do not even know what it means, but I am quite certain I will throw this part out if I were to cook a chicken.

Chicken heart. Yikes.
